I'm calling this a love letter, because that's the way I hope you experience it. If you've glimpsed yourself and/or feel despair, dread or fear, there's really, really Good News. Check it out.
Is one of your resolutions to grow in your faith or go to church more in 2021? Great decision! If you don't have a church, consider visiting mine: Harborside Christian Church. You can attend from the comfort of your living room.
We're starting the year with a church-wide fast and a series on the heart. Here's the first message. We're also reading through the foundational Gospel of John, the basis of the Love Letter Jesus video I posted above. Consider reading through it. It can change your life if you let it.
You can subscribe by clicking on the video link and subscribing to the Harborside Channel.
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
Jesus, Luke 4:18-19

About the event
As an adult child of mentally ill alcoholics, divorced, special needs mom, and former entrepreneur, I draw on more than twenty years of combined recovery, trauma therapy, and spiritual study to share my experience, strength, and hope with others. During our time together, I’ll share God-centered life lessons I’ve learned that can be applied to every area of life—especially when facing challenges and unexpected detours.
Among them:
· Accepting grief as a normal part of your process—even with positive changes.
· God’s ability and desire to comfort and guide us when we’re honest with him.
· God’s purpose in suffering, transforming us and our circumstances.
· Trusting that God can work good out of even the most difficult realities.
· Receiving God’s unconditional and healing love.
· Leveraging our experience to help others.
Time will be allotted for small group work and prayer.
