Love that Corrects & Transforms

Thanks and happy birthday to faithful reader Kathleen Lamb for reminding me of this post. Since I’ve been on spiritual sabbatical off social media, I'd forgotten it.
Very often, I'll read something I wrote a year or two ago (long lead time in publishing!), and have one or more of a few reactions:
Am genuinely astonished by the timeliness, surprised at how my own forgotten writing preaches to me in the moment, years later
Moved by memories and the passage of time
Struck by how some things don’t change
Stunned, sobered, saddened, and/or relieved by fresh insights that challenge my earlier understanding
Humbled by my cluelessness and Christ's kindness
Grateful for the chance to share my experience and what God continues to teach me
This entry checks all the boxes, and I pray to share more soon, God willing🙏🏽.
During these extraordinary times, let’s please remember Jesus’ words:
“Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.” John 13:34 (NLT)
"Those whom I love, I rebuke and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent." Revelation 3:19 (NASB)
LORD Jesus: Thank You for Your amazing grace, love, and mercy. Please open our eyes to truth and our need for You. Help us love as You love, recognize and respond to Your loving correction, and become instruments of Your transformative forgiveness and healing in our troubled world. In Your name I ask it. Amen. Thank You. I Love You. ✨🤍🕊️
