Whatever we don't own, owns us.

“You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” — John 8:32 (NLT)

There’s a variant in recovery circles covered in the book, “the truth will set you free, but first it will $:@$* you off.”

Honest awareness is hard… but it’s the first step to freedom. It gives us room to choose.

We want to be open to God‘s leading here, which may look different than we expect (see my recent post on Jesus’ Relational Realities from Matthew 10.)

We may need to set better boundaries, be more selective about our companions, or guard against enabling the unacceptable, forgiving ourselves and others along the way.

And when we’re still struggling, we can trust that Jesus meets us where we are—and will be there when we’re ready to take the next step.

Isabella, I never had any problems except my boyfriend wanted me to move in with him in Mishawaka in a third floor, steep stairs apartment that was small. I own a 3-bedroom 2 bath

mobile Home and have a 3-wheel bike in South Bend, Indiana so who do you think has a better living situation and we both own a cat. I think my life is wonderful and since I don't work, I'll never fear of being fired.
